Protect Yourself Against Scams and Fraud

It's no secret that healthy eating habits and physical activity are the 2 basic requirements for losing weight. Yet, intelligent people who know this is true still seek some magical approach to reducing the uncomfortable, unhealthy and frequently embarrassing fat from their bodies. In order to eat healthy and be active, thoughts and behaviors are what is to be the focus. Focus on the mind and the body will follow… and hypnosis is the proven method to do it right.

The first thing to do is to simply accept that there is no magic bullet, potion or product that magically transforms your body. And what exactly is it you might be putting into your body? What side effects or problems may occur? Remember the Fen-Phen craze? It seemed harmless and legitimate. You went to your doctor, got the prescription and got results. Sure, and after enough related deaths to the weight loss pill, it was taken off the market. No thanks... I'll eat right and exercise.

FDA & FTC - Two years ago the Food & Drug Administration and Federal Trade Commission launched Operation Big Fat Lie, a law enforcement sweep against companies making false weight loss claims. The FTC has been active in educating consumers about diet rip-offs. The FDA sent warning letters to 25 firms for making false weight loss claims and advisory letters to over 1000 manufacturers and distributors of dietary supplements, reminding them of the legal requirements for dietary supplement labeling claims and advising them that dietary supplements labeled with false or misleading weight loss claims are misbranded and subject to regulatory action. FDA also prohibited the sale of supplements containing ephedra (ephedrine alkaloids), because they present an unreasonable risk of illness or injury.

Hypnosis - The natural and timeless practice of hypnotism is safe and effective. And the case studies and research has shown that when including hypnosis in your weight loss program, more weight is reduced, kept off longer and the typical struggle to lose weight is removed as well. People overeat and eat when not hungry mainly for pleasure and other emotional reasons. This is unnatural and therefore, unnatural results are realized in the form of excess fat and reduced health. Overweight health related problems are rising at alarming rates. And truly, it's all in your mind.

When seeking hypnosis services, it is suggested to find a reputable, certified, experienced person. Just like with all professions, there are better and worse. Ask questions, do your research and pay attention to your feeling about who you find. Many times we overlook our intuition and in hindsight know we should have listened. We were all born with free will, the ability to choose. You can choose to keep fooling yourself and struggle with that weight loss goal or experience how much more comfortable and yes, even enjoyable, weight loss can be with hypnosis.
